Dinosaur Adventure Golf is one of the biggest mini golf courses in Canada featuring two distinct 18-hole courses which are spread over 70,000 square foot of playing surface. Both courses are fun and exciting with one being a bit more difficult than the other. As players move through the course, as many as 50 dinosaurs lurk.
The whole park is designed to feel like a step back to the dawn of time, with lush vegetation around the holes and dinosaurs in every direction. Ponds are scattered throughout the course – and the centrepiece of this is the 50-foot tall volcano with cascading falls alluding to lava. Not only is the volcano ‘active’ – it regularly erupts in fire and steam – but one of the holes requires players to move through the cavernous interior filled with deep digital volcanic rumbling sound effects and cave critters.
The golf course is complimented by a digital sound system that plays low-hum dinosaur growls, bird chirping and other sounds you’ll find when you’re out in a prehistoric jungle. The combination of the visuals and soundtrack really gives you the atmosphere that you are actually playing mini-golf in the primeval era.
