LOCATION Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Journey Behind the Falls is a year-round attraction offering a unique view of the rushing water from the base of and behind the world-renowned waterfall.

The IDS design studio was involved with the redesign of the existing ground-level concourse to serve as the entrance, staging area, main ticketing, and customer service counter for the Journey Behind the Falls attraction.

The keys goals of this project were to:

1. Improve visitor experience by telling the story of Journey Behind the Falls;
2. Elevate the brand identity;
3. Improve way finding; 
4. Increase revenue generation; 
5. Connect the Journey Behind the Falls attraction with the overall visitor experience at the Falls.

FUN FACT

Over 2,800 cubic meters of water thunders over the brink every second, travelling 65 kilometers per hour!
