GREAT CANADIAN MIDWAY

XD-Theatre

CLIENT HOCO Entertainment & Resorts

LOCATION Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

The Great Canadian Midway on Clifton Hill was transformed in 2012 by the replacement of the FX Ride Theatre with an 18-seat, fully immersive XD Theatre. The Wild West Coaster is a state-of-the-art attraction complete with stereoscopic imaging, wind effects, stunning light effects and realistic motion with up to 2 Gā€™s of acceleration. The seats alone are capable of up to 400 movements per second with twists, lifts and turns that give the rider and unbelievable and realistic experience and one which will want to be repeated over and over again.

The attraction has become a much more visible destination within the Midway with the inclusion of a curtain wall which remains open before and after the ride experience. This retrofit also included the Great Canadian Midway prize redemption counter and ticket counter machines, which were cohesively integrated with the remainder of the existing family entertainment centre.
